E-Wheel Limited Warranty
Limited Warranty – KOPUWAY Electric Wheel
This agreement outlines the LIMITED WARRANTY coverage supplied by KOPUWAY, Inc., to the USER, which is defined as an individual who has purchased the KOPUWAY Electric Wheel (hereinafter to be called the PRODUCT) in the approved retail establishment or via kopuwayglobal.com or from a COMPANY-authorized sales representative. Purchasing any PRODUCT from an unauthorized reseller, including any online purchase other than directly from the COMPANY, will void all product warranties to the extent permitted by law.
KOPUWAY warrants that the Electric Wheel will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months.
For purchases made on kopuwayglobal.com, the warranty starts the date the product was shipped. If a customer purchases from an authorized dealer, the warranty starts from the date of purchase on the receipt.
Claims Process
KOPUWAY WILL NOT REPLACE ANY COVERED COMPONENT UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY WITHOUT FIRST SEEING PHOTOS OR VIDEO OF THE DAMAGED COVERED COMPONENT.
In order to exercise your right to receive a replacement for a Covered Component under this Limited Warranty, you must:
- Contact the KOPUWAY. Technical Support team through this request form. The Technical Support team will initially work with you on the problem with your ebike to identify potential simple fixes.
- If the Technical Support team determines that a Covered Component must be replaced, they will provide you with a set of instructions for returning the defective Covered Component and receiving the replacement.
- After you receive the replacement Covered Component, the Technical Support team will also assist in determining how to replace or install the new Covered Component into your ebike.
- You will be responsible for shipping costs associated with returning a Covered Component unless KOPUWAY. agrees in writing to pay for such shipping costs. Replacement Covered Components under this Limited Warranty shall only be shipped to the address of the original purchaser.
THE FOLLOWING ARE NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY
- Damage has been caused by modification or use outside those specified in the user manual.
- The barcode or serial number of the product has been altered or removed.
- The warranty registration is inconsistent with the product itself.
- The product has been dismantled or repaired by an unauthorized third party.
- Water damage is not covered under warranty.
- Damage or fault has been caused by other issues (excluding product design, manufacture, quality, etc.)
- Natural wear and tear that does not affect product function (including scratches and wear and tear on frame rails, footpad, tires, etc.)
- Damage has been caused by accidents or human errors, such as breakage caused by rusting in a very wet environment.
- Damage has been caused by overloading the PRODUCT
- Damage has been caused by acts-of-god such as fire, flood, earthquake, freezing, etc.
- Products purchased from an unauthorized reseller to the extent permitted by law.
ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE) ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE ABOVE 12-MONTH WARRANTY PERIOD. KOPUWAY INC. FURTHER DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS WARRANTIES.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you if inconsistent with controlling state law.
KOPUWAY reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to interpret, modify and amend this warranty policy at any time.
